Meena and Mouse have adapted well to Western Washington, Port Orchard. The summer was a little shorter than we wanted; however, all things considered our winter has been mild.
I call Meena and Mouse, Miss Meena (or Princess) and Miss Missy (or Sweatpea, or Mouse). They don't seem to be confused by their names and come, usually, when I call their names.
The girls have brought life into the house that was much needed. I look forward to coming home each day. They both watch me from the top of the stairs when I depart for the day and greet me in the same place. I have two other cats who are ill and they are both tolerating the energy that Meena and Mouse bring to the home. Miss Lucy prefers to stay on my bed and the girls leave her alone, most of the time. Miss Meena has a longtime crush on Smokey Bear my barn rescue cat of about 9 years. Smokey has many health issues and tolerates the girls very well. Meena can't help the once in a while wobble and fall onto Smokey, and he just gets up and moves. Overall, everyone gets along/tolerates each other. Mouse has rocket launchers/springs that propel her like I've never seen before and many times overshoots her target. Meena defends herself and goes after Mouse playfully. Both are the most beautiful endearing kitties and they are perfect. I knew the day I saw them online and have had absolutely no regrets. These two are blessings and I tell them every day.
God Bless you and all you do! May this year be great for you and all those in need.
