Our feline rescue and adoption organization at FieldHaven offers sanctuary to rescued cats. Some of these wonderful cats are available for adoption to pre-qualified homes. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors and all will place a smile on your face. We have many happy families who have adopted their new addition to their family.

How to Adopt

girl with cat Our regular hours are Monday through Friday 10 AM to 2 PM and Saturdays 12 PM to 4 PM or call us at (916) 434-6022 to schedule an appointment to come visit FieldHaven.

FieldHaven Feline Rescue cats and kittens receive the very best care during their stay with us. They are spayed/ neutered and receive any necessary medical care, including vaccines prior to being offered for adoption. Since we want all our cats to be adopted into the right forever home we make every effort to make sure you find the right family member and our adoption counselors are available for followup consulatations and advice. We have a very open return policy in case, for any reason, the adoption doesn't work out that you return the cat to FieldHaven.

Adoption Fees

Our adoption fees vary but are usually around $95.00 and include:

  • Spaying/Neutering
  • Vaccines
  • FeLV/FIV test
  • Worming, flea treatment
  • Microchipping
  • Follow up counseling and consultation
  • Complimentary health exam with participating veterinarians
Need to Surrender Your Cat?

Most of the cats and kittens arriving at FieldHaven come from situations where they have been rescued by Lincoln residents and we are sometimes able to accept cats from other individuals or shelters. We get many more requests to take in cats than we have space to accommodate them, but we make an effort to assist every request. Many times this means that we won't be able to take in the cat you would like to bring to us but we can help you with re-homing the cat.
