Bubba was what we call a "biter" – he was returned once for biting and we had challenges with him here. He was adopted by a family with the understanding and patience to work with Bubba, as you can see in this note to FieldHaven:

We adopted "Sammy Boy" into our family on Valentines Day 2009. What a great addition he has been to our family.
We lost one of our girls on New Year’s Day and our other girl Betty was so lonely. She likes to watch Sammy Boy and his new
Papa play, she joins in sometimes, but the old girl (14) can’t keep up with the youngster (3).
We came across Sammy kind of by accident, we were not looking for a boy but he stole my husband’s heart and now they are the best of friends!
He certainly is a handful, but lots and lots of fun and makes us laugh all of the time!
