How long have you been at FieldHaven? 8 months

What's your favorite volunteer activity? I have done so many different activities and enjoy them all. I miss the mornings I used to spend at the trailer, cleaning, feeding, and becoming acquainted with all our adult kitties. But it sure feels good when I watch one of our kitties go home with their forever family.

How long have you been smoking? 42 years.

How many cigs per day do you smoke? I have been a "closet" smoker. I don’t usually smoke away from home and only smoke outside. and, I only smoke about half the cigarette because I need to get back in the house and continue doing whatever I was doing.

What odds do you give yourself at quitting for good? I quit once for 2 ½ years - BUT, I have an incredible support group this time around, and to fail would be more than just not quitting smoking.

How many other difficult challenges have you won? I believe there have been multiple challenges in my life, but nothing like a lot of people face. The worst thing which happened was losing my mother at the same time my husband was divorcing me; it was a big hit in my gut for a while. I survived and not much rattles me these days, I think I learned some important lessons about what is important in my life.
