Sid was with Preston and me for 22 years, since he was a 6 year old. He "hunted" with me to many blue ribbons and championships at the shows. I loved the feel of him in the air over a jump with his knees to his chin. He loved being a show horse. When he'd see us packing for a show he'd anxiously wait his turn to get on the trailer. When in competition he'd be all business and knew when he was jogging back in for ribbons first - he'd drag me through the jog - who was jogging who?

In his teens he learned to become a trail horse on his off time from shows. His very favorite thing to do was race Travis down the beach. I can still feel that thrill as we'd start to gallop down the beach and he'd kick into gear and leave Travis and Preston with a face full of wet sand!

I know he's at the Rainbow Bridge jumping the big jumps and dodging the waves..
